The Project

First Look is the “preschool” department of The reThink Group – a company that produces a curriculum and strategy that unites parents and churches in raising children.  Each month, there’s a new theme, and I take the the theme graphics and animate them using Adobe After Effects. I am responsible for finding unique ways to animate the graphics, as well as identifying the most natural or appealing way they should complete.  The same is true for the countdowns.

Technologies Used

Adobe After Effects is a digital visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application developed by Adobe Systems and used in the post-production process of film making and television production.

Adobe Illustrator is a vector graphics editor developed and marketed by Adobe Systems.

Red Giant is a software company made up of artists and technologists who collaborate on the creation of unique software tools for filmmakers, editors, visual effects artists, and motion designers.
